Sharon Wood Appointed as Tax Partner
Sharon’s appointment brings the number of partners in the firm to four as part of our long term plan to continue to develop the business.
During this period of uncertainty the firm remains in a strong position and continues to work closely with our client base to provide much needed support.
Sharon was brought up in a family business and has worked her way through the ranks in her tax career over the last twenty years. Her combined commercial knowledge and tax expertise makes her well placed to provide tax and commercial advice to owner managed businesses and their owners.
This includes supporting our clients in making successful R&D claims, providing that much needed cash flow injection which can help protect businesses from the impact of the ongoing pandemic. She has made successful R&D claims across various business sectors including food and drink, construction, manufacturing and engineering. She also advises on corporate restructuring, employee share incentive schemes and succession and exit planning.
